Versão 3 - A vingança

If you think Daniel’s writings were “write [in English] wrong a lot” (although there are no mistakes on his text), oh, boy, you should take a good look at this...
Greetings.
First and foremost, I would like to say that Mr. Camozzatto is one of the greatest philosophers of our time. The mere fact that he is not recognized as such by this (insert an adjective here) world is yet another evidence of my theory.
Moreover, I do believe that is very important to discuss ethical matters on this blog. I mean, we live mostly for what we *shall* do as robots, how do we say that... chorus... wake up, have breakfast, work a lot, get home tired, see some TV/computer, drink some wine and get to sleep, because there will be plenty of work on the other day and we are too exhausted to think of something else. So, there is few time left to wonder about vices and virtues, not to mention the concept of good life and so forth.
Come to think, it is all a great paradox: I have access to countless websites, but I live in the Age of Missinformation and don’t have any time to access them (when I do, I have to use Google or Wikipedia to get even more missinformed about several subjects...).
Perhaps there are too many people with very little knowledge. Who knows...
But these matters shall be addressed in another text. Let us stick with (on??? Diogenes, help!) the matter at hand.
The subject that I am willing to discuss is related to this discussion:

Well, as far as my English skills allow me to present my argument accurately, I humbly disagree with my fellow friend Camozzato. I hope he understands that I do so not as a sport, as he knows that I disagree a lot with everyone else too, often also with myself. I swear I’ll try not to sound disagreeable, if you know what I mean.
I upheld that people should be held responsible for their choices and acts. It happens that those who wear body piercings are more likely to be employers of Rock n’Roll stores rather then Body Care Clinics, as I explained before. It is a sociological fact that Weber himself could not deny. I am defending the idea that one must bear the consequences of his choices, that is, in this case, having a hard time finding a job.
I am not neglecting the effect of the “environmental influence” on the character of people, it is impossible to deny it. I am just saying that this is a cultural matter, not a ethical one. I mean, twenty years from now, it will perhaps be the exact opposite. Notwithstanding, there are other influences as well (genetical, for example), and I still believe that one can make choices alone. No one is *coeherced* to do something, at least not in my example.
Denying jobs for those who have tattoos or body piercings still does not seem wrong to me. The employer is interested in earning money. So, he ought to hire those who are more likely to bring profit to his business, am I right? Yet, you say, but he will judge people by their looks... Of course he will, otherwise he would randomly select the candidates, what I think it is a good way of choosing politicians, not peasants.
Yeah, I know that is not a bright argument cause one can use it to justify a person that hires no black people cause that is not profitable. In that case, it is morally wrong from my point of view, although it is hard to explain the difference. It gets even worse if one considers employing no gay people, because it is disputable whether or not being gay is a choice or not. The Pope and Marta Suplicy have clearly opposite views on the matter.
(That’s such a lawyer’s utterance and I am using it to destroy my own argument. Shame on me).
For now, let us resume with our example regarding body piercings:
In this sense, to use body piercings or not does not appear to be a moral dilemma or a natural imposition. Of course, those who use it will face the social consequences of this behavior, as I stated before. I am neutral on the matter. I just don’t like it and tend to respect those who use it, as my cousin, for instance.
Free will. Free choice. Responsibility. I rest my case, knowing that this was a pittiful excuse for reasoning, considering the fact that I am a Master in Law's applicant.
That is all folks. I was informed that my cousin is doing some sightseeing in, believe it or not, Rio de Janeiro. For him I’ll give my best wishes in his new journey (he’s living with his girlfriend in MG). Be Happy, mate, you deserve it. Write here someday. Looks like I’ll have to buy him a “borrifador” or a Zippo Lighter also. :)
Farewell, my esteemed friends. I plan to return more often when I have my own computer. For now I leave you with a picture that speaks for itself, even if you don’t understand a word in Russian.
PS: I forgot to mention. Next year I intend to begin a journal (diary). Who cares, anyway.
PS2: Let us all wait for the “Grand Opening” of Daniel’s website. Man, 500Gb is more than I can ever think of! We already have a forum, that’s wonderful already :).

Seu post está sendo devidamente digerido. :D
Em tempo: a dona na foto foi, durante um bom tempo, minha musa inspiradora. Ok, não inspiradora, afinal ela é meio idiota e burra. Enfim, inspiração é o negócio. E tenho dito. :D
